    No probs.

    Mellon is doing a good holding job, but for me, we need fresh and experienced impetus.

    Even if we win comfortably today, I just can't see the fan base cheering Mellon on for the job, can you?

    And IMHO that's because the ball's been lumped aimlessly towards O'Grady meaning we haven't had enough of the ball to score goals and we've given the opposition too much of the ball so that they can score goals. If we keep the ball we can give it to Mellis and Paddy who can hurt teams, and if the other team don't have it they can't exploit our defensive weaknesses. That's what sacrificing a forward has done. Completely agree about not pressing and getting enough bodies forward though, but I think this formation allows more of that.

    Don't know Pasta, I don't think you will ever please everyone with a managerial appointment. Flitcroft was probably the most popular appointment of recent times in the summer and plenty had turned on him by the end of August. If Wilson got off to a bad start desenters would soon start.
