but isn't there a bit of double standards here ………..we've all seen opposition players do some things that annoy us but we're quite happy to see our players doing the very same thing... off the pitch - most annoying - Jason 'enthusiastic' Mohammed.
- People who leave before the injury time board goes up. .... every week - kicking off at 1504 every week at home - People standing at away games when their seat is on the front effing row. - time wasting added and ultimately ends up in favouring for the team doing the time wasting - encroachment when a penalty is taken - throw ins taken, and the ref brings back play only for the player to take it from the same place as he was going to anyway.
That's a scandal mate. I'd be on the blower to Paul Conway straight away to get that rectified before the start of next season.
People who leave early when there's only one goal in it is completely bizarre. It's like leaving a film five minutes before the end.
Foul throws never seem to be given in the modern game. Encroachment by the opposition to prevent a quick free kick is rarely punished, for me it should be a yellow card on the first occasion, would prevent repeat offending. Also every visiting team this season has repeatedly stolen yards with almost every throw in,we seem reluctant to do the same,is this due to us being a young relatively inexperienced team that lacks a little "streetwise mentality",we have received little or no help from officials with regard to these issues but have had the quality and ability to overcome teams in terms of results. Whatever the outcome of this season it has been an absolute joy to be a part of. Onwards and upwards. COYR !!!
Football boots should be made of leather and be BLACK. Not pink, silver or fluorescent yellow and made of plastic. Just black, leather and last you at least two years, and if they're not gripping proper...change your studs. With a stud key. (How many modern players know what a 'stud key' is though?)
No managers in world football yet having cottoned on to marking the thrower given that 99.9% of all throws get wall passed back to the guy throwing it in. Plus I would immediately sack any manager who left no players up when defending a corner. (Sorry Daniel). Worst defensive tactic ever.
Wasted free kicks. You know the ones I mean, a short sideways/backwards one which puts the team taking it under pressure, when the ball could have been pumped into the danger zone.
Stamping. Players seem to have perfected the next thing to "leaving a foot in", which is stamping on standing foot and ankles after the ball has gone.
