    I saw Blondie 30+ years ago at Warwick Uni. She was off her head and could barely stand. But it was still more entertaining than this shower.

    It was 1990/ 1991. And it was definitely Blondie. And it was in the Student Union at Warwick University. I was probably the most sober person in the building having over- indulged the night before.
    I’m sure if you dig deep enough you’ll find they did play. It’s not the kind of thing you confuse if you were there.

    It was certainly marketed at the time as “Blondie” (although this could have been an error by the SU). She had a full band with her - all equally hammered. Tickets weren’t on general sale. I only got one because I’d been awarded colours for making the England Universities football team.
    I’d say there were more than 200 there.

    Lots of people referred to her as Blondie back then, not knowing it was a band. Great story though, I wonder how that came about.? :)
