Would make sense though. Would also make sense to well and truly speculate that our relationship with Red Bull is not maybe what it once was.
You can't possibly blame everything on backing, only one player has gone and yet we see playing terrible. Let's restart this thread in 3 months and look at Red Bulls results I don't expect much
I'm keeping calm until the domestic window closes. If things don't massively improve though, it's going to really test my resolve. I bought three season tickets knowing I may not see a ball kicked. My choice. But I do expect some degree of return on that. Right now things are verging on taking the pi$$
I think you're wrong on this one mate. Struber is one of the cogs in the machine. The whole machine is effectively controlled by the board. Oil the cogs properly and give the machine a little care and maintenance and it will run properly. The owners won't even buy a tin of cheap lubricating oil. Complete farce.
Contracts are a two way street. The other party also need to agree and seeing that they have got what you are asking for, they are surely in the driving seat. Now if they are asking you to take him on loan then you are.
You've got to wonder what the effect of all the craziness going on behind the scenes coupled with the perception of the board treating the fans with contempt and people falling out of the habit of going to the football is going to have on our fanbase unless they can turn something around pretty sharpish.
There are so many possibilities, I can't decide which one you mean... Raw Deal? Red Heat? The Running Man? The Terminator? Total Recall? True Lies? The Expendables? Escape Plan?
I remember the crowds before Allan Clarke if this lot carry on the way they are we will be revisiting those dark days again.
Funny thing is, as dark as those days were, looking back they still seem brighter than the here and now.
All it took to turn the lights back on was a £10,000 investment by two local businessmen and the immediate purchase of two decent forwards for that £10k. Football was such a simple business back then....
I agree fully and whats the point of signing more players if he is leaving.Alright the board should be doing more but it im sure that the signings made during the last 6 months have been strubers choice not the boards. Also as far as our transfer market, its still open which should please us as most have complained about foreign signings. And also looking at the deals over the last few days there doesnt seem to be many in the championship so lets wait and see what the next 2 weeks brings.
You will also remember the crowds after the Clarke /Hunter era where in the mid eighties the crowds dropped to the 6000 region . I know the strike played its part but it went further than that, not only at Oakwell , there was a general slump in crowds & the current situation with the pandemic might have a negative affect on the game , fans can get out of the habit especially if their clubs are struggling & interest dropping coupled with the greed of the premier league , we will see .
