We're in the middle of a pandemic with no crowds allowed. Football is not like any other season. The deadline day produced bugger all transfers. In fact we're one of the few clubs that were busy with the signing of Aitchison and the loan move of Ritz (who most on here didn't rate). Transfer business is quiet as clubs take stock of their financial position and try to survive. We may well just have enough funds in the bank to pay the wages and overheads for this season. Other clubs may not be so fortunate. Personally, I'm going to cut the club a bit of slack at least until things get back to normal. In any case, 4th from bottom in the Championship is just about our rightful position in the pyramidl. We could be in Sunderland, Portsmouth or Bradford's position.
