    I think they jumped in before doing due diligence (still not really sure what that means but thought I'd use it) and now they're trying to put out fires. They probably shouldn't have and know they shouldn't have but they're passionate and wanted to be part of something that was moving forward. They're now trying to take control of it and make it valid. I don't think they should be criticised, but I'm a shocking judge of everything!

    Is it a hoax or not?

    Do you and Gally share your information?

    Or at least the information that enables him to call it a hoax?

    Or have you just come to different conclusions based upon the same information (or lack of it) ?

    Just asking the same questions you'd ask of the CEO or whoever's in charge of Conway Out.

    The bit that is missing though, so we're covering everything, is that the people that were part of 'the 10', which included Luke as he's been involved from day one, knew that it wasn't really Martin Nettleton.

    Luke hasn't only just taking a lead role in the campaign. I assume they deferred the Facebook group responsibilities to 'Martin' because it's hard work having a life and a job and trying to maintain any other hobbies/interests, so you split up the workload. I know full well on this as I've had to explain that before to one of the individuals who has part of 'the 10' originally - normally after being hounded about the Trust and why we don't behave or interact exactly as he wanted.

    That might be what you think you're doing, but from the outside looking in it doesn't seem like that to me. It seems to me like you're acting like a dick. At no point did I think Loko and Gally were acting like a dick in the way they were questioning the CEO or the mods on the Conway out forum.

    And believe me, there's no favouritism here. I think you're all decent chaps, but Loko pisses me off a hell of a lot more than you ever do, and he'll be quick to back that up. Admittedly, I find it difficult to get annoyed at Gally even though I've tried for about 20 years.

    My thoughts are as clear as night and day throughout this whole thread and massively out there in the open. I'm willing to engage on the subject, and engaged with the people behind the Conway Out campaign whenever they asked. Either in private or on their Facebook group. Under my real identity by the way.

    You're trying to pin the word 'hoax' on me for some reason. I've never used the word hoax once, but I think you're arguing over semantics when that's just one word.

    From what I gather, Gally definitely thinks it's a hoax because he wrote 'This Conway out group is a hoax'. Loko has never said it's a hoax but he questions whether everything is 'above board' or legit. I personally don't think it's a hoax with the involvement of the decent lads from Tykes TV (but I have no idea who this Martin/not Martin Nettleton is and his intentions), and I also realise nobody asked my opinion on the matter. What do you think, you reckon it's a hoax? Come on, nail your colours to the mast! :D

    Think yourself lucky, if a moderator on this site had acted in the same way as the person who’s user name that has been called into question and banned people off the FB page, you would be banned for having the audacity to pose questions that they are uncomfortable with. There’s little wonder people have/had doubts about the FB group. Think there’s a little bit of pedantics going on here over the use of a word

    That's the dilemma with a board that has posters who know each other personally. But not fully.

    The truth and the criticism gets lost because people recognise who they're posting in response to, and don't want to offend them.

    There's a left and right (not politics) truth zone where you don't care who you're engaging with because either you don't know them, or because you know them so well that you can say what you like and it makes no difference.

    Then there's those who you know but not too well or that much at all really, who you don't want to offend cos you don't know how they'd react but why would you want to offend anyway.

    In your case, you've already posted that you don't care for my opinions. That is good, because I don't know you and it helps you to continue posting without fear or favour to any of my posts.

    Saying that I'm acting like a "dick" is not helpful however.

    This Hoax line of questioning is getting surreal.

    I might try doing this with my boss on Monday morning when she allocates me my cases for the week. I'll get utterly hung up on one word she says and question her on the specific meaning of it till lunchtime. She'll love that.

    Are the people fronting the campaign trying to dupe or manipulate fellow Barnsley supporters? I'd hate to think so and don't think they are. They're just passionate supporters thinking this is the best way to improve our fortunes.

    Is there a chance that somewhere down the 'family tree' all is not what it seems with a challenge around credibility. Absolutely. I think there's a massive chance of that. Because from what we know, which is very little, nothing suggests this is how you go about buying a Championship Football Club from owners who haven't even intimated once that they want to sell.
