    It's certainly been more entertaining than the football.

    I'm an any publicity type of person. A smidgen of profanity never did anyone any harm.

    Character building. Maybe now the the face book group have distanced themselves from the UFO's and little green men, they can sit down with God and his disciples and focus on getting back to the promised land.

    What I find quite funny about it is that the only person I’ve ever known be this dogged about something is Loko :D I’m hoping this is just a fantastic joke by Gegenpresser. Otherwise, I’ve no idea what is going on.

    Because loko is an admin on here and googoogagapresser has a grudge against the admin of this site after receiving a permanent ban (which this account is a way to get round that ban by the way)

    I'll muddy the waters...

    I believe it was set up as a hoax, the instigator got rumbled and now some genuine folk are trying to salvage what they can from the smoking wreck left behind because 1500 people were duped into joining.

    Gally explained his opening post. It's pretty detailed about why he posted it and what his thoughts were. Is that not an explanation?

    What needs correcting?

    What needs retracting?

    Never prove? There's plenty of things being proven through this thread. The reason it's 25 pages long is that it's 'lived' through different things happening. Do you realise that the Supporters Trust had to get in touch with a local business owner because there was a concern his name was being used and associated with this campaign, unwillingly? And that it turned out to be true? That two other people that I've heard from also contacted his company direct or through someone that knew him, because they had the same reservations?

    But yeah. Let's spend hours on a Friday night arguing the semantics of the word 'hoax' and not focus on the above or that a closed Facebook group is being used for a £20 million takeover of a Championship Football Club.

    I think it's fair to say that I really don't care about offending anyone. I think it's also fair to say that if anyone posts in a respectful way I will respond in kind. And I think it's also fair to say that me claiming you're acting like a dick doesn't mean I think you are one. I don't think you are. I think you are acting like one in this instance, and I don't think it's unhelpful to point that out to you, it may stop you continuing to act in such a manner. I've acted like a dick on here plenty of times and I've found it very helpful when that has been pointed out to me.

    It doesn't though does it? Because I'm just one supporter with an opinion amongst another 10/20,000 of us.

    My opinion isn't fact. It's just an opinion. I think Daniel Nardiello plays up front in a best ever Barnsley XI. I'm basically right aren't I?

    I think it was supposed to be though, because I (only in my opinion, ofcourse...) don't think Gally intended for people to get in a fuss over the semantics of a title on a football forum.
