This Government are making an absolute mess of this pandemic

If there were body’s lying everywhere and a Tory with a smoking machine gun some gullible will still try to find a way to blame someone else .

 

I’m sure there’s some truth in that, but a good opposition doesn’t suddenly make incompetents, competent. It highlights the incompetence but that’s it. I think the microscopic scrutiny by the media of a candidate’s private past, what they said years ago, what they smoked when they were 17 and the ridiculous’Piers Morgan’ style of interview where the interviewee is hounded into a slip of tongue and then ridiculed for the audience’s pleasure almost guarantees that proper candidates won’t step forward and we’re left with the less able types who are in it for the wrong reasons. For example Boris Johnson. The trouble is, we get used to low class politicians that it becomes the norm and eventually leads to election of such as Donald Trump. Then you have a total incompetent voted in who is being worked from behind by people who, not only did nobody vote for, but probably don’t even know exist.
