Agreed, our ability to supply anti-tank weapons has helped them and we have shown compassion in sending aid directly from ordinary people - much of which stood in vans for days at Dover due to Brexit bureaucracy by the way.

Nothing to do with the EU whatsoever, Germany is over reliant on Russian gas and it will take them some time to re-source their energy needs, other countries like France with their nuclear power stations can and will move away from Russian gas quickly. Other EU countries will move faster or slower depending how their energy is sourced - the EU will not stand in the way of these sovereign countries on matters like this.

We rightly have a tradition of providing military aid throughout the world (usually when it suits us), however, since 1945 Germany has been without any significant military so how you think they were in a position to give military aid to anyone is beyond me.

The EU have acted far swifter than the UK on applying sanctions, by for example impounding luxury yachts and sanctioning many many more oligarchs than we have. The have acted infinitely better in their actions on refugees while here in Brexit Britain we have complete ***** like Sir Edward Leigh banging on about Lincolnshire being "full of foreigners".
