But to document a 'philosophy' in that way? Not only is it open to ridicule, but it gives a yardstick to measure progress and performance against. And on the few bits that make any sense (as sentences I mean, not theories), Lee's team looks a country mile away from implementing his plan. From which you can only conclude he's not very good at coaching them.

Ignoring that for a moment, I appreciate - as Jay points out elsewhere - this is a presentation piece. You can pay a website somewhere (not sure of the name off hand) a small fee to watch LJ and Nathan present this piece, at a science in football meeting. I remember seeing a link to it a while ago, but I couldn't be arsed paying to watch it. Glad I didn't. So aye, it's not purely something shown to our squad. However, the vast majority of its content is fed to the players. It's LJ's and BFC's philosophy. And if you succeed in pulling off the targets referenced in it, you're onto a winner. It needs time though. You can't write all that out, recruit lots of players and wave a magic wand. It's merely a dream. Even long term. It's just idealism.


It's very funny though. And because it's out there for all to see, opposition managers can access it. Supporters can too. And so it leaves you wide open.

 

Not only is it out there publicly but its out there because Lee Johnson explicitly gave the website permission to upload it. Something that some others who gave presentations chose not to allow.
