It is the timing of it that is designed to elicit a reaction after a defeat, and a very poor performance to boot. How long have you been aware of this site? I assume from your comments that you have known about it for some time, and yet you have chosen your moment to reveal it to the BBS at a time when it will do most damage and when most who see it will seek to inflict the maximum amount of damage. Hence my comment, cheap shot.

 

As I clearly stated in post one of the thread, it was found by West Stand Bogs. For extra information for you, the lads there tweeted it after the game. It was then that I assumed it was one of their piss-takes (as I said in post one of this thread). They assured me it was genuine, and so I felt it would be something worth sharing on this, a forum for Barnsley supporters to discuss Barnsley FC.

It was only later on that I remembered seeing LJ and Nathan on a website a while ago (end of last season??) where they were at a science in football event doing a presentation. You had to pay a small fee to watch the video of said presentation so I chose not to bother. However, I last night figured that this PDF version will have been the same piece they presented on that video.

So no. Not a cheap shot. Nor "seeking to inflict the maximum amount of damage". Have a word. You must have a very low opinion of me. If that's the case, no bother. But I'm comfortable in the knowledge that I'm always - despite my faults - honest. It's one of my faults actually, my honesty. I saw the PDF shared on twitter, and thought it was of interest and relevance to the BBS so shared it here. I expected it to be laughed at, because I laughed when I read it. And as we showed last weekend with the plantpot, we from Barnsley have great humour even in adversity.

 

On the contrary, I have a very high opinion of you and was disappointed that you had lowered your usually high standards. If I was wrong, I unreservedly apologise.

There seems to be a small number of people on here who think the club should be above criticism or ridicule. I got rebuked the other day by someone for daring to raise the question of increased prices on match days. This is a forum. Raising things that are in the supporters interests are its USP.
