Not advocating sacking him to be honest. I’m ok for him to carry on to the Euros or if not I’d be ok with a change. I’m just pointing out that we shouldn’t be content with being nearly men all of the time. Actually winning things should always be the aim.

I wasn’t saying he had had a good managerial career.....however he might be better qualified than you to give judgement.....or maybe not cos never talk ******** eh lol!
Southgate is building his experience of guiding England through these major tournaments, with a semi, a quarters and a final so far. Why would we ditch that learning now? He should carry on for the next two Euros/World Cups at least, for me. And I'd chuck in a knighthood. Folks should respect him.
I just hope he doesn't outstay his welcome and go stale. I made a point the other day about managerial appointments at National level. They need to be based around the 4 year cycle around World Cups as that should be the pinnacle. If he does stay on. I'd like him to stay on until after the next World Cup. If it's just the Euro's he can go now for me. The cycle would be all wrong like it was with Roy Hodgson.
