100% agree. All managers have their 'favourites' and Wiseman is clearly one of Keith's if not THE favourite. The problem is when manager's have favourite players, that the bulk of the fans are unsure about, it almost becomes a game of "I'm the manager, I pick the team and I'll show you that he's a good player and prove you wrong". In doing this, however, they become blind to the fact that their favourite player does have bad games, can't play every position on the pitch and occasionally needs dropping for somebody else who just might do a better job. I get the feeling that Wiseman is the first name on the team sheet, even before Hill has decided what formation he's going to play and which 'other' players are in the frame for a game. If that's the case, for a player that amounts to not much better than a top end League 1 player, there is something drastically wrong at the club
I'm fairly sure Wiseman has been dropped,subbed etc while he's been here.I'm not sure why he plays Wiseman at centre half when we have Collins on the bench but thats for the manager to decide.I think once all bodies are available McNulty and Crainey will be our centre back pairing.
