    Aw, come on

Stop talking sense. Say something argumentative. I'm feeling really moody & sulky and can't be bothered to study!

Good/bad players matter on the club as well. with a basic technique.

Re: There's no arguments to win, mate

Correct. Can you remember Rocastle from chelseas and victor man lover from arsenal?

I didnt start this thread in an attempt to say that lower league recruitment is the best way to go. I was merely pointing out that our lower league recruits have fared just as well or better, than our upper league signings.
At the end of the day (its night) it matters not where they come from. Its what they bring to the table, and what they do here at the 'well that counts.
And in response to Bert Troutman -
I rate many different types of players. And yes, David Perkins is a player I like. He runs his legs into the ground for 90 minutes, he works hard, tirelessly, win lose or draw. I admire that quality, and when more talented individuals apply a similar ethic to their game, thats when they too are at their best. Case in point - Ricardo Vaz Te. Awful, until he married his undoubted talent with the neccessary work-rate.
Perkins is more than just a grafter though, and a lot of his good work goes unnoticed IMO. He breaks up play, makes great tackles, and has set up more team goals than credited for with those simple tasks he fulfills. And you only have to look at us without him - a worse side. And, having conversed with fans of all 23 of our rivals this year, on twitter and forums etc, he is usually the first player they mention, and always in glowing terms.
So yeah, I know a player when I see one, and he would be one of the first names on the teamsheet for me, without question

    Good point

Also, experienced/academy players under the pitch. with a surreal backflip.
