    Well the EU came into existence to put an end to 100’s of years of wars.
    And we joined the EU because the then Tory government were genuinely scared we were about to have food shortages.

    And already we’re celebrating threatening our neighbours with gunboats and contemplating food shortages. I have to agree it’s all going to plan :)

    We didn't the working classes were cannon fodder as the countries of europe constantly wasted lives fighting wars on behalf of rich people who wanted to be richer.

    Yes we coped before the EU, we also coped before we had electricity, vaccines, the NHS, houses, but nobody is suggesting we go back to living in caves
