He was just about the only player I ever booed As most on here know I don't normally boo players, because it doesn't do any good. However, Mike Sheron was an exception for me. Granted, he had a "purple patch" (well, a "patch" where he scored some goals, which is what he was paid to do) but overall he was bone idle and appeared to be only interested in picking up his alleged top wages. He reminds me of a present-day Nardiello, in that he had sublime talent but for some reason could not put it to good use. What a waste!
RE: ok I'll give you another Thats the guy at Leeds now right? Never knew he was a striker, sorry i'm only a young one .
He got hauled down at Walsall for the most cast iron of cast iron pens ever.... when we were 1-0 up. Ref waved it away. Relegation. Tears.
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo He's a latter day Oddjob. Everybody's fool. Ok on alot of money, but I can remember the look of hurt on his face when folks were booing him. I hate to see that in any player who wears our shirt.
Nope, def Walsall ... 1-0 up (Dyer), just before half time... ref turned down pen. 2nd half, they scored 2, one by Goodman, and we were as good as down. Was staying in the Midlands that night... could barely speak when I got to my friend's house.
I'm sure it was west brom rather than wallsall, thought we were one up and they had ten men. But to be honest its not something I really want to remind myself about, i'm trying to forget that season.
You're brave. Mentioning Sheron on here. Worst player ever, don't you know? Lazy, cost us a fortune, and earned a million pounds a minute or something equally unfounded and f**king ridiculous.
Five strikers worse than Mike Sheron:- Michael Mifsud Daniel Bogdanovich John Macken Kayodi Odejayi Maceo Rigters He was a bone idle little get but he was better than all the above
RE: Wish we had him now Don't be daft .... our fans don't want an overpaid lazy striker who can actually find the net once in a while do they? No use for one of those at all..........
RE: He, above all others, deserved it Spot on. He would do nothing then score the odd brace which made his ratio look half decent. I remember listening to an interview on radio dee dar in which he said "I always give may all for the team" or something along those lines. I nearly crashed my van! Good player - heart the size of a pea and probably made himself a fortune in wages and transfer fees.
