I've got the highlights of that on vhs somehere.
I'd say that the Archdeacon goal was better than the Joachim one - Bishop and Moses in the same team as Archdeacon caused much mirth in the radion commentary team I was listening to

I had it on tape once. Owen's was straight as an arrow but savable. Joachim went on that mazy run and hit it with the outside of his right boot, unbelievable bend right in the top corner. I don't think anyone could have got near that to be honest. Still one of my favourite Oakwell goals. Think Lee Butler was in the goal for us that night? :)

Archdeacon was a favourite of mine so I'll always go for his goal.
Lee Butler was in goal I think - Was that the season where the cup run ended in a damp squib at Man City ? via a thrashing of est ham ?

Preferred Archdeacon's myself... especially with the drama of the last minute equaliser (Is that a good equaliser... or is that a good equalier?)

Though Joachim had a very easy run. He didnt really beat anyone and ran unchallenged to about 20-25 yards out. Went pretty much middle of the net with Butler far too far off his line (as he had tendency to do).

And think you're being harsh on Archy. Add 10 yards and think we're about right at 35. Although i think Poole would have saved it if he hadn't been on one leg (recall him being injured earlier but didnt come off)

John Beresford did pretty well. Taggart had a lengthy Premier League career.... erm.....
