Who lost money Cryne or Ridsdale?
I'm not disputing the fact the Cryne has put money in.

I put it to you that you are one of Mr Ridsdale's lapdogs. How do you plead?

    Yes,he was..from alternative sources

it's worth noting that, as far as we know,no alternative source has been found to date

And I put it to you

That you and the others arguing against him are lapdogs for the current regime. How do you plead?

I think the above is unfair, but no more than accusing Leeds Tyke. At least both him and Redstar have heard both sides of the story and made a decision based on that. The majority are arguing against them having heard only one side of the story. Who is giving the balanced view?

I don't know who is right. I certainly think Ridsdale made some mistakes. Getting rid of Gudjon so quickly seemed ridiculous to me. Bringing in Hart even more so. The True Bond scheme was a disaster from the start. The fact that it appeared it was sold to the fans on a false premise made it even worse.

However, there's one thing that doesn't seem to add up to me. We were told that Ridsdale spent all the money; that we were miles over budget; that we were hours from administration. That's why he went. However, when the figures were released a couple of months ago they were almost exactly in line with the losses predicted when Ridsdale first took over. Ask anyone who went to the supporters club meeting when these losses were predicted and they'll tell you the same. How can we be in line with the predicted losses and be massively over budget at the same time?

RE: And I put it to you

I have nothing against Peter Ridsdale, or Patrick Cryne and Gordon Shepherd. But after everything Ridsdale did, even at Leeds, Leeds Tyke is there to defend every action of his.

Mr Shepherd has made a lot of decisions, comments, etc. which I am not happy about, and I am in no way condoning or defending any of these.

    A good question Jay..

The figures for last season, where Ridsdale predicted a £2M loss will certainly make interesting reading

We have no idea of what or who crawled out of the woodwork when PR and PC took over. It's probably fair to say that things were not whiter than white.

For sure, Ridsdale made mistakes, without a doubt, but I just feel that there are two sides to it.

If it came to who would you want, I'd say a combo of Shep and Riddy and Waler and loose Mr Taylor

    It's worth noting Jay.

that as I understand it, the figures for the season PR left are the next ones due out, not the ones previously released.

I guess that if the figures show a massive deficit compared to what was anticipated then the case will be rested, although we will not be able to see an indepth analysis of how and why? eg if it is say £1M over projection, did PR spend money on the proverbial goldfish or did settling the clubs debts and ongoing costs actually cost more than anticpated?

RE: Is PRiddy the Harry Redknapp of Chairman...

Wouldn`t paying off Gudjon and installing Hart cost the club or had Risdale budgetted for this in the forecasted losses?

We don't know and will never know

in detail what pushed us to a £3.5M loss. The full figures no longer have to be published

if riddy got it right why....

does a neutral, like PC, a successful bloke with deep pockets who has kept the club afloat, prefer GS in charge rather than PR.

if PR kept within his budget, if he did things right, why would PC ever want tog et rid of him, cos no doubt, riddy was great at PR....so if riddy was financially shrewd and great at PR isnt he here anymore.

    just doesnt make sense.

    I know...

    it does not make sense.
