I don't rate Woods but at the same time who else are we gonna play? Let's stop kidding ourselves here, we've got 14 midfielders on the books (15 if you include Bobby).

Out of that 15 only Jennings & Hassell look decent

Digby & RNL are made of glass so we've never had a chance to judge

As for the other 11 none of them are either very good or capable of more than one game every 5. Whoever you put in instead of Woods is likely to be just as bad

 

He doesn't even jog. Prances around like one of those dressage ponies.

 

I remember when we had Colace here & his biggest asset was his reading of a game, he always seemed to know where the ball would land & manage to get there without challenging for the ball.

Woods is the exact opposite, always seems to misjudge where the ball will land & find himself chasing his opponent & getting nowhere near him.

Poor player.

 

Sorry for knot getting bark to yew but I had to log off cos the copse were outside fir ages and woodn't go away

 

He was woeful today and i still cant believe he missed the open goal but he didn't deserve to be booed off.

 

Doesn`t know how to mark a man, being goal side and tracking his runs, reacts when its already happened, plays quite a lot of balls backwards turning our centre haifs into playmakers or hoofers. Not impressed and joked on hearing his inclusion that I may as well turn round and go home.

Owes Dawson a gallon for yesterday. He was trying to cover 2 players most of the afternoon.
