Nah Tina, 45 mins - 90 mins is enough

How long does a young lad need. Should've got a hattrick in that time. Must be rubbish - they've read it on Hudds Town web site so no point in giving the lad the benefit of the doubt. (doh)

RE: Ronnie Glavin top scored for Celtic before he joined us.

Excuse me , where was I making a comparison?

Just pointing out that Ronnie wasn't rated over his first few games at the club.

The way you twist peoples words makes you look like a man "Desperately seeking Ritchie". :'(

RE: You must have been looking for negatives in his play then because he wasn't *****.

I felt he was very much thrown in at the deep end today. I was also expecting someone with a little more physical presence.

You're correct in that some folk were looking for flaws in his game from the word go. It was the same lot who had it in for Robbie the other week (before the game even started).

I'm still bemused as to why Mattis started the game ahead of Sam Togwell. I believe it was a mistake playing Mattis this afternoon (bearing in mind how little preparation time they had).

Why don't you write into the Club and ask for a personnal meeting with Mr Shepard instead of using this board to to snipe at him from a great distance.

Who would you like as Chairman, P.Riddy?

I'm 100% sure he and the club read this board. If they'd

wanted to talk to the likes of me I'm sure I would have had the 'call' by now.

Like I said, I want a chairman who backs a manager to the hilt, not one who backs him in public, offering him a new dealand turns away suitors only to, few weeks later, change his mind. We needed stability at the club, had done for years, that was undone and now we're suffering the consequences. All we needed was3 or 4 quality additions to Ritchies squad to keep us up, now we need a miracle.

I'm thinking that Kidd influenced the decision today

Coming from the Bury Academy etc etc

I thought he did ok, but it was a lot to ask of him to step into midfield after 1 training session

What do they want on here?

RE: Not disagreeing about fans negativity to new players, just the relative backgounds

Does that not make it an even more valid comparison. One had done it at a high level and cost a fair amount of money for the time...and the fans still had a pop. One is possibly an up and coming player and needs more support from fans.

As I said 'Not disagreeing about fans negativity to new players'

I saw Glavins debut, never booed him, never booed anyone (laughed at a few). Just I don't expect Matthis to be another Glavin. Just sayingGlavin had already done it at a high level, Matthis has not played at any decent standard so there is no comparison as to their relative potential.
