    As a fan I have to be honest little interest in how much we pay for players. I trust the board to be prudent and expensive doesn't always mean good. But threads like this don't add much to sensible debate either way.

    Ok not totally writing him off just questioning the fee we have paid for him. I don't know whether he is worth 500k 1million 10million or 50p neither do you. When you have watched him play a few games you are entitled to your opinion of his worth.

    Only vardy went for 1million in the names I listed above. Most of the others were low fee low risk signings 3 were signed by Peterborough and sold on for massive profit.

    Does anyone at all have any reasonable suggestions of 2 strikers, proven at this level that would cost a million each and fit in the wage structure. I can't think of one, at all

    I think we should look abroad for strikers. The UK market is crazy. We will get more bang for our buck imo.

    Not proven at this level but I would have tried to get compete with Brentford for Ollie Watkins.

    And therein lies the problem. The entire squad is up for sale yet the policy is flawed as the money we get from player sales is evidently not high enough to replace those we sell.

    Bedfordshire today

    The midfielder made 106 appearances in all for Luton, scoring 31 goals. The fee, believed to be in the region of £1m, is undisclosed, but Norwich will get a fairly large slice due to a sell-on clause.
