Re: Exactly I'm sorry Jay but I don't think you fully grasp what I've said. You say THE CLUB has no assets, that's correct, BUT, PC does, along with the council, and PC owns the club, so if PC sells to who he thinks is the correct person then he can also sell them his share of the assets. I think you are getting a little mixed up by talking about THE CLUB in isolation to every thing else. PC owns the club he also owns part of Oakwell Holdings, PC is the link that holds them together. As things stand at the moment, it is impossible for some one to come in and buy the club by mortgaging the land in order to buy it, ( sound familiar ) and in my opinion that is a good position to be in. The council would I'm sure, sell their share as long they were given legaly binding assurances as to the future use of the land.
Re: Sorry, you're right No apologies needed pal, it's been a long hard season, it can make anyone crazy, I'm ok though cos I've been crazy for ages.
Re: Exactly I understand you perfectly well mate. But I don't really want to discuss it any more. You see Mr Cryne and Barnsley FC as one entity. As the same thing. I don't. I hope we can agree to disagree.
Re: I'm sorry mate but that's not true How does that tie in with oakwell holdings (or whatever its called) attempt to build houses on the carpark then?
Hollow That word sums it up exactly. Staying up is something I have enjoyed celebrating over the past few seasons, I couldn't even muster the strength to go tonight. I can't remember watching a reds side and feeling like we have no chance what so ever of winning. Im struggling to find much to look forward to for next season, looking at the squad its going to be a long 9 months. If Butterfield does move on for £1 million Im not sure I trust KH to spend the money (not that he would get much of it), Our squad has been transformed into a poor championship/league one outfit and no-on can disagree with that. At least we have another season at this level unlike Doncaster Rovers.
