If the players are ok till the final third and the goal came from a set piece, pay tell how 4231 would have changed the outcome?
Hi Redstar, sorry for the delay in replying. I should have been more explicit, when I said the final third,I meant in terms of the squad members. I believe the squad is weaker than the one that started last season and less balanced. As to the formation yesterday,I felt we should have matched Hull's formation as our squad would allow that. They could be playing now and still not have broken them down.I think it's the weakest front line in many years,I have no idea how we arrived at this situation but it is what it is and they have to put out a team which is hard to break down. January may bring some relief, who can tell. I don't understand why the consortium wants to buy Bfc and how they can make money from it. There are bigger clubs that are losing lots of money,in a better position to Bfc. I'm not convinced they are going to spend millions and buy supposed success,It's a perplexing conundrum, could Bfc be a Tax write off in their own countries? I don't understand International monetary and company law. Perhaps I'm being too pessimistic and negative and it will be fine,I would like the Cryne family to be repaid loans to the club and ownership be put into a community trust; with members from the family, community and the Supporters. The Trust Board is elected in the same way as members elect people to a Building Society, Co-op, or Trade Union. It sets the budgets, employs full time staff to run the club, the same as now but is answerable to its membership. It would mean we were never very wealthy but operated within a realistic budget. The ownership of the land and stadium would continue as now, which means that Council tax payers are already stakeholders in the club. I expect to be attacked virulently for this view, but the short termism of Football club ownership is damaging the game. Your final question on how it would have prevented the goal,is that it wouldn't have,it was just a mistake by Fryers, these things happen. All the best to you.
