Thoughts on Buxton and Rotherham

Kozluk played the majority of his

games for The Blunts last season at left back, but is equally adept at right back. I think Hassell and Bruma are in competition for the right back spot when fit and Kozluck and Werling will compete for the left back spot.

Think Odejayi and Mostto look like they could be a decent couple of signings and hopefully one of them can hit the magic 20 this season. Ferenczi is still very much in with a shout for 1st team though. Coulson I am not convinced should be our 4th striker yet. Get 1 more in but its not a priority. Howards looking good, as is Togwell, Devaney hasn't got going yet and I have been particularly impressed with Ricketts. He could be a key player for us this season. Dont think he will be as greedy when it comes to the real thing. Johnson has looked ok but he needs to improve to get in the team IMO. In defence I would give Souza a contract. He has looked capable considering he is on trial and has had no time to settle at all. Nyatanga is just what we needed. The full back spots are gonna be one of the most interesting competitions for places. 2 each of L & R backs who all look like they can hold a place in the team (although not seen owt of Bruma). Reid and Atkinson can provide cover for CB but if we got a long term injury we would need to get somebody in, maybe Unsworth should be signed if poss. Muller will just about finish the squad off but even if we have to wait until November, Colgan is more than capable until then, he has got us this far after all.

 

Howard looked in good condition today... lost a bit of weight.
