    I'm trying so, so hard to like Mastodon but difficulty finding people without knowing their full account name including server, seems extraordinarily difficult.

    I do think federated social media is the future, when corporate social media eventually eats itself.

    I consider myself fairly tech savvy but find the barriers to enjoyment of the fediverse are too high as things stand.
