Yes but those Barnsley fans sat in Liverpool stands where genuine Barnsley fans it was the Clubs fault that 1/2 of the Anfield Road end was full of plastic fans.

I was 1 of those sat in the Liverpool end due to knob heads from Barnsley wanting to go & watch Liverpool

Not at all. If the Manure lot end up in the Barnsley end where will they be from? Manchester? Highly unlikely - more like the surrounding area.

If Barnsley fans did end up in the Liverpool end then atleast they'll be PROPER Barnsley fans from the town? I doubt many Barnsley fans will have got in the Liverpool end anyway.

So you went to Liverpool not expecting a ticket? Rather than hoping to find someone who'd be selling?

    True Reds. :D (Y)

I havent got a problem with that as long has they sit among the United fans.

Its the ******* you see sat in the Walkabout on Saturday afternoon when United are playing on Sky theirs more of the scummy cnuts than Barnsley fans.

A kid at work who 'Supports' Liverpool asked me today what's the chance of me & our young'un getting a ticket for the United game.

Slim to none you scouse lovely person

Gally said the police would stop us from doing it

Not that it would cost more to do.

RE: Ah the old roll over and die attitude

Expert again I see. Maybe you should pop down to the club and explain it to them... Oh wait a minute.

I think it depends on the category of the away fans.

And the percieved risk. Could be wrong.

    oh...

and the added cost to police it vs extra revenue generated (if any)

And the available resources of the police for a game arranged with just a few weeks notice. (Games are planned months ahead I kid you not).

I ended up sitting in the Kop that day. No other way of getting into the game. So bought tickets from a bloke off Gumtree telling him I was taking my girlfriend who was a longtime Liverpool fan but had never been to Anfield.
Talking to a Man Utd fan at work the other day (born and bred Manc/European away fan etc) and even he said he might be sat in our end with his mates as he'd be able to get the tickets easier?!?!?!
