Posts like this really make me wonder if some fans have slept through the past decade and learned absolutely nothing. We've now got a squad populated by academy graduates, plus a handful of young prospects signed from other clubs. We are categorically building for the future. Yes it's sometimes hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel at the moment but we will get there. I have confidence in Danny and the direction the club is taking. That's not to say they are beyond reproach but **** me, some of the ****** posted on here is cringeworthy. Up the Reds, up Danny, up the young lads (sounds wrong), and up the pending new signings.
Mike I have never known a situation where we look to be fire fighting every week. So many signings that haven't worked. Danny is a lucky man to still be in a job after so many abject failures.
It's a tough time at the moment, but it was always going to be more difficult than many would have hoped. Danny has had to rebuild a squad from almost scratch. He's not a ******* magician though. He's human. He gets it wrong sometimes. We all do in our own walks of life. The current situation is a symptom of the poor policy over the last decade, having to rebuild annually with a new manager and a new squad. All I ask is that the doubters and Wilson haters give it until the end of the season to see what progress has been made by then. Chalking **** on it now and starting from scratch AGAIN now must only be a view supported by the **** nuts amongst us.
Two signings haven't worked per se in Lita and Trecy. Hemmings looks poor too One transfer window. And not all of it at that
I partially agree with your last paragraph. But the fact is he has had 12 months in the job and nothing I have witnessed makes me believe he is the man to lead us forward. Abject displays and signings have left me, sadly I must say, losing the desire to attend Oakwell. It really hurts me to feel this way but I refuse to pay money to see the same crap week in week out
Have a break from it them if it's getting you down; it's football FFS. It's been poor in the main since Robins was sacked. Pointless arguing about the signings last Jan or the tripe he inherited
It hit me today that we are a club in serious decline. The embarrassing delay to kick off, a team with no leaders, wrong formation for the players we have. No attempt to change tactics. The fans comments set around me were disgusting and shameful. sorry for the negative post but a big change is needed top down
Go on then tell us all who the experienced pro's are that Danny's purposefully ignoring to play kids? There was only one today & that was Reece Brown & I'm certain we're all happier with Holgate at right back
Have gone and got a half season ticket and am looking forward to Danny rebuilding the club. Let's hope all the happy clappers are right and we'll see some better performances in 2015. On today's evidence there's a hell of a long way to go, but they're my team and even though it hurts like ***** right now I'll keep going... I don't like the reliance on loan signings, Cole, Williams, Trotta and Dudgeon leave and we look a very poor side and new players always take time to settle. Some of the signings don't look good enough to me and Danny is really under pressure but I won't become a boo boy, just a very concerned supporter.
I didn't realise it was a gas leak the officer over the system said it was a structural problem in the west stand . I also don't want Wilson out. The whole place seemed down to me yesterday. A new character in the board room to inject some hope, would be good, a bit of money, a change of formation on the pitch to help the players compete and finally the fans need to support not constantly moan. Change is needed but not Wilson or cryne or hemmings out
