I've read everything you've had to say and you don't come across very well at all. Time after time in fact. Moaning fans that give little back???... you should be ashamed of yourself. People who mostly don't have much spending hundreds of quid on the club in this current climate and you have the balls to say that? You're an utter disgrace. When you spend that kind of money you're entitled to be upset about how it is used.
Remember that this cu nt claims not to hold opinions on anything yet constantly belittles and blames Barnsley fans and the people of Barnsley in general for the behaviour and failings of rich people. He's either the biggest disgrace this board has ever had or the thickest piece of **** the board has ever had. Either way he's a cu nt who loves to victim blame
If everyone is reading the same thing into your words then perhaps it is you that’s wrong…just a thought.
The ones paying 13 quid have invested more in the club than your beloved owners. Who are at minus 750k
To be honest his posts on this thread are not only insulting to the fans but are also insulting to our town & the whole community , I suggest he should sleep it off & then on reflection offer a sincere apology .
I won't call you names, or have a go at you, or try and belittle you, but you should really think about this post, in particular the closing sentence. Read it again in the morning, and really think about what you've said there. I have backed you in the past for your explanation of not being as affected as others over the club and its issues - it's a position I respect, because we all feel how we feel. But this post is not only an insult to every Barnsley fan, it also belittles the history of the club, the generations of fans, our ancestors who also grew up in the town and made the town what it is, raised us, introduced us to BFC and, sadly for many, are no longer here. Again, I'm not saying this to try and show you up, or guilt-trip you or whatever, or to get the agreement of fellow reds who oppose your view, but please think long and hard about what you've said, and about how hurtful your words will be to many, and the anger it could cause. And seriously think about issuing an apology to the supporters of our proud club, whose owners DO NOT represent us.
I have read the full thread again and unfortuately i cant apologise for what i have wrote as i do strongly stand by what I have put, if you read my posts as a whole and dont abstract little parts of them then you should see my point of view, i dont want / need anyone to agree with it, i just like the opportunity to express it or debate it. I do however think its my turn to log out for a bit, I've not had a drink so I cant blame that for my posts. Im just very sad about how this season has turned out, I thought our crowd today was very poor on the verge of embarrassingly quiet but today when Reading were losing we should have been driving our team on. I believe that players like Anderson Kitching Collins Walton Helik Morris Woodrow Vic Wolfe Moon Styles Brittain Williams have always given their best just a shame it wasnt enough, the 2 coaches have been dreadful and the owners worse but we dont turn our backs on the club Ive been supporting for over 40 years. Me and my sons will keep going to Oakwell and a few away games, ill keep reading the BBS because its something Ive loved being part of for years but its time for a break because as much as I am offending or upsetting people on here its bothering me just as much. Cheers
We definitely can compete in this league it's not all that apart from maybe a few teams who run away with it. It's the sustainability we can seam to achieve, after every transfer window or end off season we always weaken the team and don't replace adequately and **** it up time and time again. We need to build a solid team and stay in the league longer and become an established club, its the owners that's never been good enough or savvy enough at knowing how to build but instead take the wrong option.
Look after yourself. And I do think we'll bounce back, it may just be a long and winding road until we do.
Course we can, this relegation has been totally selfinflicted from conmans disastrous time as ceo and the players he signed. Then appointing schopp and when the whole of the fan base were crying out for a experienced manager who knew the divison to save us we appoint a clueless p.e teacher couldnt make it up. The fact 2 teams had points deducted and were bottom is a embarrassment.
Don’t know where this inferior fan base comes from ? It’s a myth or easy /lazy throw away line used without any thought or evidence whatsoever . We can compete like for like seasons with loads of Championship clubs , Millwall, Preston, Blackpool ,Blackburn,Huddersfield , Cardiff ,Bristol QPR etc and we could compete with Burnley who have survived a few seasons from the Prem . It’s nothing to do with attendance as if we doing well the crowds will come and compete with te above . As far as generating income it’s always easier when clubs are doing well , potential big crowds are not a guarantee of league status as lots of clubs will testify . If crowd stats were the main factor we would never have been in the second tier as long as we have over the years , so we can compete in the Championship and beyond imo with the crowds we can generate .
