Ok its a YES from me....

But we already look like we're going to be in desperate trouble this season. So put it this way, if Keith were to get sacked tomorrow then I wouldnt be too disappointed. :(

    Yes.

There won't be anything out there that can deliver what he is doing with the resources he has. Although at times I think he could make better selections.

In fact, take him out, we may as well just resign from the championship and asked to be put in league 1.

Would love to see how he would get on with the budgets other managers have had. But we will never know.

But to sack him. Sheer F'kin madness. Just needs a kick from our small board of "DIRECTORS" (as the name suggests, TO DIRECT) to sort our very leaky defence....

What concerns me as well is who would want the job on our poor budget, just in case Keith did get sacked or chose to leave.

I don't see the point in sacking Hill. It is very early days as far as this season goes, and he has 5 of his better players out injured (Perkins, O'Brien, Steele, Done and McNulty).

If after 15 games, we're rooted to the bottom, then perhaps you think about a change. But we're 3 games into the league, and have garnered 3 points that most of us didn't expect.

However, his bizarre selection policy isn't doing him any favours. And to not only keep on selecting Wiseman, but to make him captain, is bordering on lunacy. IMO of course.

I have noticed a change in his interviews though this season, and he seems more fan friendly. But then, he would be, wouldn't he? I mean, he's lucky to still be in charge when you consider the appalling run we've been on since the turn of the year. Every other BFC manager in my lifetime (Wilson excepted) has been shown the door for similar, or dare I say it, 'better' results...
And the overwhelming support he still gets from both the board, and we the fans is quite amazing, considering.
Also, I have never known a BFC manager make as many excuses as our Keith.

The constant whingeing about money is both boring, and unjustified. He took the job on knowing the budgets he had to work within, and when we were doing well last Autumn he was swaggering around like he was Cloughie, and sticking it to the fans whenever he could. No moaning about money then, was there?
And, I am pretty sure that in 1996, we had one of the smallest budgets in the division. But I don't recall Wilson whingeing about it whenever we lost (which wasn't often). I don't remember Wilson aiming cheap shots at the fans when we were on a good run of form, either.
I DO recall us getting promoted though, against all odds, thanks to great coaching, great recruitment, great workrate, and great expectations.

Our current expectations have been set at 21st. Again.

I'm waffling on now, so I'll just end here by clarifying my allegiance.
I'm a Tarn supporter. Always have been, always will be.

I don't think we should be changing the manager. I'd see where we are in November, then assess things.
But if he does eventually get the boot, I wouldn't be surprised.

Up the Tarn, etc etc and so on...

    Our league record in 2012:-

    P25 W5 D3 L17

If there isn't someone out there who can do a better job than that then the UEFA Pro License has a lot to answer for.

YES - Who else could do a better job? Hill does have his failings but at the same time he's done some good to the team / club.

Someone could. For people to say that no one could is absolutely ludicrous.

    A massive YES from me

    Am fully behind them.
Judge them when they have had at least the luxury of playing a full strength team for a decent stretch. Add to that that we simply cannot afford to start all over yet again - it's the only thing been proven not to work !
Would love to get someone in to give the training warm up / warm down methods a once over though - this amount of upper leg injuries just doesn't add up.

I'd suggest that there are lots of unemployed/employed managers out there who could at least equal Hill's performance.

    Sean Dyche.

    Steve Davis.

    Danny Wilson.

    Billy Davies.

    Sir Bobby Hassell.

Btw, I'm not suggesting we get rid of Hill - see my earlier post in this thread. But I find it laughable that folk keep trotting out the "who else could do better?" bullshine.

I think the point is that everyone would find this job difficult. Everyone.

Yeah, he's made mistakes but he's taking on a project that everyone needs to buy in to.
