I've given him some stick today.

But after hearing the rave reviews about this Open Meeting tonight with him and Patrick Cryne then i think it's changed my judgement a little.

Maybe i was abit too haesty with the transfer scenario etc, apparently Liverpool have accepted a bid for Hammill, he's happy to come but the agent seems persistent on getting him to another club and geting himself more dollar, i was a little rash and never thought of this earlier and i hold my hands up to that.

With news regarding the transfer activity i respect it's hard to get a deal concluded with having a bid accepted, a medical, and to get the player to agree personal terms or on the off chance this could be concluded yet a takeover of some sort i.e. Charlton could hold up a move for striker Andy Gray, this would really annoy me off if it happened to me if i was in charge so again i hold my hand up to that.

I still don't think KO will pull up any tree's this season though, just don't think he'd good enough in my opinion. Love to be proved wrong but i think it will be highly unlikely, the same goes with Darren Moore - think we need a new replacement for him as he will cost us next season, the Thompson lad did okay on Sat and maybe he's the one for him to replace, tall, athletic, good on the ball. Have to wait and see.

On the basis of some transfer news this week and this so called 'big news' them i'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being and give him around 10 games to see how he's doing, if he's not doing so well then i'd review the situation.

So on the basis of now, i say IN and give him a chance to get off to a good start on Saturday.

I am cynical mate but I don't believe much of what ....

... BFC and it's employees tell us, most of it is spin and said to keep the wolves from the door.

I prefer to look at the facts and they say we have a weaker squad than the one that nearly got relegated 94 days ago - for me that's not progress, no matter how positive the 'feel good factor' is at the moment and no matter how many non-league teams we have beaten so far, all that will quickly disappear if we don't get any points from the first few matches

 

PS. I was more interested in who changed their minds ...

..... and at what point, rather than being proved right.

I hope we win every game, and SD gets the manager of the season award, that will make me wrong but very happy

Wolves are in the Premiership this year and won't be at our door.

We'll have Owls, Eagles, Throstles, Robins, Foxes, Swans, Bluebirds and other fauna, but no wolves. Sorry.
