    It's not a Davey out poll ..........

    ...... it's not even a poll - it's a thread to identify who backs him at the moment and who doesn't, the point being to see who changes their mind and when, because I know full well that all those who are sticking up for him now said **** all during March and April '09 when it looked like we were getting relegated.

    By some miracle, we survived, and his popularity has soared, despite the fact he has only signed a conference player and a reserve goalie and let 5 first team squad members leave the club - oh but we have put some unibond teams in their place haven't we? ...... he talks a reight game though ............. absolutely bizarre

    Which i reckon means 76% of the voters are in favour of Simon Davey.

    From what I saw last year - Davey seems to be a good scout, and handy on a budget, but he makes some bizarre selections and actually I'm not convinced he knows how to line a team up. I thought he was a weak link last season, and I'm not sure that he has succeeded in strengthening the squad in the closed season. Despite the promises Hammill has not yet signed - I'm thinking 'counting chickens' and all that.

    I'd be delighted to get proved emphatically wrong.
