As a one off maybe but not permanently. Sheffield United used to come out to it and you can't go copying your entrance music from your rivals
maybe the club could run a comp devise new theme music for players to come out to then before new season starts get a focus group together and pick the best one,if none are any good then decide what we all want vote wise or summat
My suggestion...for what its worth http://bbs.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showth...Little-Birds&p=1269383&viewfull=1#post1269383
Timerider would be alright if it was played AS the players were coming out. I remember it playing through once, then almost twice before the players came out at most games. Just listening to it now, I'm 2 minutes in and I'm getting bored... another 4 to wait for the players to come out though. Oh wait, I have to wait for it to start again and play through another 4 minutes, silly me!
yes definitive Barnsley theme tune ,any other song theme could be attached to any ice hockey team basket ball team ,anglers unite ...but time rider is 100% Barnsley fc.
Do you think Everton have this same discussion every 6 months ? Or do they believe that the Z Cars theme is theirs and want to keep it for themselves? We have the Timerider music, it is OUR tune, no-one else uses it, I much prefer it to all the crap we had from Stone Roses etc. If we have to change it we need something that the crowd can get into, something that builds up and gets the stands rocking
FACT!!!! Isn't Timerider off the old Hitman and Her TV show with Pete Waterman and that dancer called Wiggy?
Z cars is very moving at Goodison - I watch Everton quite a bit and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when it starts - seems to trigger the whole crowd. They do start it as the players are in the tunnel which is wht we should be doing with Timerider - momentum's gone when the players arrive out at Oakwell
She was - I was obviously referring to the big black fella that jumped around a lot in the background. How the **** did that tripe become our club 'anthem' in the eyes of some fans?
That in my opinion is the biggest problem with it,timed correctly it works, the way we used it in the past was too often woeful any atmosphere generated had fizzled out long before the players came out
Am I the only one here who remembers the Oakwell Clapping Song? Absolutely the campest piece of music I have ever heard at a football ground in my entire life. Not sure if it even lasted the season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SruVR2fBQWE
