    If only you took 30 seconds to check this ******** yourself before mindlessly parroting it - https://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/concerns/autism.html

    I'm pretty sure the CDC still advocate that vaccines don't cause autism.

    Plus, don't get your info from Medium, it's just a blog site, I could post on there saying that Duplo bricks were a key factor in starting the Arab Spring. Surprised a top 0.1% educated person would use Medium...

    OK, so let's address this. Firstly, they found no causal link but just evidence of correlation. Correlation deos not prove causation - see my graph on organic food above. But putting that aside, let's look at what it says:

    (i) children from countries with the highest ASD prevalence appear to have the highest exposure to Al from vaccines;

    This isn't surprising is it - countries with higher vaccination rates are countries with better developed health systems, which will be more adept at identifying and diagnosing ASD rates. So it stands to reason that countries with higher vaccination rates will have higher rates of ASD diagnosis.

    (ii) the increase in exposure to Al adjuvants significantly correlates with the increase in ASD prevalence in the United States observed over the last two decades (Pearson r=0.92, p<0.0001);

    OK, so just the US this time but the same reasoning applies. Parents who have children vaccinated are in general likely to be more attentive towards their children's health and have access to healthcare. So again the correlation is not surprising.

    and (iii) a significant correlation exists between the amounts of Al administered to preschool children and the current prevalence of ASD in seven Western countries, particularly at 3-4 months of age (Pearson r=0.89-0.94, p=0.0018-0.0248).

    See point 1 above.

    And in any event the conclusion is not that there is a causal link, but that it warrants further investigation. This falls well short of being any sort of proof that vaccines cause autism.

    Regardless of that, they're not even indicating a link between vaccines and autism from that abstract.

    Becoming very clear that he is just lifting stuff from a social media page or blog and just blindly accepting it because it fits his beliefs.

    It took me literally less than 5 seconds to prove that was not true. It isn't difficult to quickly google and check something out.

    For clarity, I am not saying that vaccinations can cause autism because I do not have the medical expertise to put this to the test for myself. Similarly, no-one on this board possesses this expertise either, including nurse Magee. I am merely stating that there are studies that suggest that there could be a link between aluminium present in vaccines and the high levels of aluminium found in the brains of children with autism and that this warrants further investigation.

    If anyone would like to pull apart the two studies I have linked, please be my guest.

    Why should anyone take anything you post seriously though if you can't check stuff out yourself with a quick Google? Sorry but I can't take anything you then say seriously if you can't be arsed to make the effort yourself.

    Fair play to the other posters who have took time out to read it and humour you, though.

    Usual criticisms apply, but as well this suggests that if aluminium is a cause it may be due to ingestion. Baby milk contains significantly more aluminium than vaccines.

    I was asked to provide details of medical studies that show possible links between aluminium adjuvants in vaccines and autism in children. I'm not here to evaluate the studies (that's your job) I'm just showing that such studies exist.

    Im on about your CDC accusations that you couldn't be bothered to check yourself. After that, all credibility goes out of the window. My 10 year old daughter could have checked that, it isn't hard.

    Once again, posting claims that are absolute lies and dangerous at that too.

    Using a "social journalism" (blog) site to prove a point was always going to end this way. As others have said, what little credibility you were clinging on to has now been well and truly punted out the window.

    Your exact words were "there have been many studies that have found causal links between autism and vaccines"

    You haven't posted anything even close to that yet. Even the authors of the studies you have posted would agree that they haven't established a causal link.

    Please stop posting absolute nonsense like this. Its most unhelpful, imagine someone who is going through the traumatic experience of having a child diagnosed with Autism reading this while in a vulnerable mental state.
    The reason we get these sorts of silly idea around Autism is most children present as neurotypical up until around 18 months then the signs start to become apparent. So people try and look for some cause, when the reality is it was there all along. This is why we picked up on it a lot earlier in our 2nd child.
    All this kind of stuff serves to do is upset people unnecessarily.

    I have an autistic son so you don't need to preach to me about what it's like, thanks. I know you have two children with autism because I have read your posts.
