Various states already mandate vaccines:
Polio in 12 countries
Hep B in 10 countries
Diptheria and tetanus in 11 countries

And that is just within the EU and EFTA countries. So is your problem with mandatory vaccines, or with mandatory Covid vaccines?

Also, South Australia are offering people who test positive the option to go to a "quarantine camp" if they are unable to isolate at home. This is a particular problem with indigenous families who live in close proximity to each other. This is a little different to pulling people off the street and sticking them in camps. It is just out to tender now though, so nothing is in place yet.

I wasn't referring to South Australia. I was referring to Northern Territory and the television interview with the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory suggests that it is already happening and it doesn't sound optional.

In answer to your question, I am personally against the mandating of any medical interventions.

Boris has a new plan to keep us all safe in the run up to Christmas. He's asking all of us to take a covid test before we go shopping, so he expects the selfish amongst us who won't spend the 30 seconds it takes to slip a mask on before going into a shop to spend 20 minutes waiting for a test result after they've had to shove a xxxxl cotton bud up their nose everytime they want to go shopping etc in the run up to Christmas. His speech yesterday made more sense and he was off his face when he made that.

Just checking here but in the uk it's still a choice to be vaccinated right? I'm just getting a strong sense that if you haven't opted yet to be jabbed its something to be frowned upon , especially on this forum.whether someone has had or had not had a medical procedure is no one else's business surely, and they should not be mocked or made fun of if they haven't. A genuine question regarding vaccines. Have they decided whether or not they stop you passing the virus on or not? I remember them saying that early indications suggested it did but haven't seen anything since that over 6 months ago and the rate of infections despite the high level of vaccination seems to suggest it doesn't?

Obviously that doesn't detract from the benefit of getting it for your own personal safety anyway.

I think everyone reacts different to covid wether vaccinated or not.as I've found out this last 2 weeks especially.nothing is as black and white as it seems with covid, and the vaccine is not a one size fits all solution

People on here, so brainwashed by 2 years of propaganda and double-speak that a person suggesting (fairly amicably I might add) that putting people in camps is starting to seem all too familiar, gets mocked, told to "have a look at yourself".

In Germany in the late 1930's and early 40's propaganda was used by the German state to make normal, nice, kind middle-of-the-road people think rounding Jews up and putting them in camps was a good idea, if you had asked those same people in 1925 if they thought locking Jews up was a good idea, they would have looked at you with horror abd disgust. The fact that the state brainwashed the German populace into believing the Jews were the enemy over years of drip-fed lies and propaganda meant that those ordinary people started to see the Jews as the enemy too.

If someone had told you in 2018 that they were planning on mandating a vaccine for a flu-like illness with a survival rate north of 95%, 99% of people would nor believe it! As it's INSANE.

The two years of propaganda and lies has led rational, well-intentioned people to genuinely believe this is a sound idea, a good way forward etc. It really is not.

Laugh at the German connection all you like, a lot of the Germans did right up until they were shown the videos from the camps after the war.

Each to their own in my opinion, if you want the experimental gene therapy (that the NIH changed it's own definition of a vaccine to include) then feel free, just don't force me to have it under threat of removing my ability to feed my family....I'll defend my rights to autonomy by any means neccessary, and I mean that 100%.
