Kozluk would be the despicable. The way that he defended an opposition player above his team mate

Got to agree with Colace. I'll also add Perkins, Bailey and Pearson.

I'm also going to add Hassell to the list, decent player but too many have confused loyalty with ability.

Very good shout with Hassell. Thing was he never left because I doubt he never had anywhere better to go. Steady eddy.

Frimpong- hugely overrated, waste of a shirt. As was Deon Burton.

Bobby Hassell... I know I'll get slammed by the 'Sir Bobby' Brigade but I have a legitimate opinion nonetheless. Hassell was a good servant of the club and deserves plaudits for his loyalty but he lacked pace and was always susceptible to a good winger. He was a good League One player, a mediocre Championship player but if we had ever got to the Premier League with Bobby he would have been seriously exposed. So, I suppose I'm suggesting he is overrated because given the context he may have been loyal and tried hard but that doesn't make you a great player. Some pundits on here think differently I think

Frimpong, in recent memory. But I'll never forget or forgive David Tuttle, for being totally useless and standing there laughing as we conceded a goal from a corner in the 2000 play off season. Another 'character' apparently. Rather he'd stuck to football. I could count the points that cost us auto-promotion that were down to Dave.
Chambers gets name-checked in the classic sides I first saw. Even at a young age, I could see the flaws from the west stand. Letting useless balls go out for throw ins, rather than find a pass back up-field. Contrast with Joe Joyce on the other side, a more progressive full back with an eye towards the modern game and his position within it. Stewart Barrowclough should have been on double wages, covering for Phil. He was captain n'all. Never got that.

to be overated they must have been rated/liked/loved by some either here or elsewhere. Naylor, Kyle Reid and Lumsden spring to mind.

Paddy McCourt, showed glimpses of class especially with the great goal against Middlesbrough but for 90% of the time he was lazy, offered little movement and tried to do far too much when he had the ball. It's easy to look at the good moments and forget that they were very few and far between.
