You said we'd be relegated to the pub league last season

And the season before. If you constantly predict relegation you're eventually going to get it right.

I'm not having a go but two defeats does not mean we're going to be relegated.

Likewise if you constantly flirt with relegation and go into the last couple of games needing to win

then you will eventually go down.

    I see your point though

I dont think I voted in that poll but

Once we got to the start of the season I dont think there is any choice but to back him

My position is clear - I wanted a change in the summer - but as Patrick decided to give him another last chance I said I would see where we were at the end of September

Having started with him and he has 2 new players to come in and Colace to come back sacking after 3 games isnt right in my opinion (Though I wouldnt argue too hard if PC changes his mind)

He has another 5 or 6 games to turn it round in my opinion - if by the WBA game at the end of Sept we havent made significant progress and have more than 10 points he has to go

My prediction - just as the axe is about to fall we will beat WBA and Ipswich and get a stay of execution

Three of this season's signings are waiting to be rubber stamped. We don't know why these signings weren't in place for the start of the season. It may have nothing to do with Simon Davey. Cryne will know and he is not going to sack Davey when he hasn't yet been able to use most of his new signings in this summer's rebuild.

Agreed Farnham, just as the axe is about to fall he will put out a couple of wins, he did exactly the same last year. Last night was my first match of the season and i came away not wanting to waste my hard earned cash anymore.

Well I suggest he should have started the process .....

..... a bit sooner then, like in May instead of pissing off to the USA coaching for some extra pocket money.

He's had all summer to do summat and waited till the week before the season started, fecking clueless he is

think we've had tipping points before

was it Hull game or Southend a couple of years back there were big chants of Davey out, sack the board and you're not fit to wear the shirt. At that point he looked like he would go but survived. You're right there has been an almost continuous undercurrent of anti-Davey sentiments from some and they may come to the surface now if more join in but I will not be one of them historically sacking people always seems second best to consistency and patience. Yes there is a point where a coach has failed but given the work Davey has put in to build a team of good quality players and the youngsters he brought on now breaking into the team surely there is a good chance it will be turned around as aforementioned possibly excepting Odejayi there are few fundamental problems with the players.

With 93.5% of the league season still to go...

... several new players in, several key players still out or not up to match fitness, he wouldn't be down the jobcentre under my chairmanship and, I suspect, not under PCs either.

    No need to bottle it.

What did you think to the performance last night?

Is that down to the Jobcentre time? Cos it's on the cards at the moment

As I say we don't know that it's been his fault. He identifies potential signings and the suits make them happen.
