2 way street though Mr C.The players and management and board need to give the fans something to believe in.At this moment in time i do not believe they do.

The silence coming from the clubs saviour is deafening.

The management talks in riddles and buzzwords and negativity and defeatism.

Half our first team squad will be gone come January.

While I agree with the sentiment of not wanting to force anyone onto the dole I just can't bring myself to feel that when it comes to a football manager who, unless his agent was worse than Mido's dietitian, will undoubtedly get a rather large pay off if he is 'sacked'. Such a large pay off that Simon Davey for example said he had been turning jobs down for was it a year? after leaving Barnsley because financially he was better off sitting on his arse picking up his severance pay from us.

I have every sympathy with anyone being made redundant or sacked (within reason of course) but I just don't feel that sympathy in the world of football, of big pay-offs, short term contracts with signing on fee's, and where the very manager we're talking about considers a grand a week to be 'aldi'. The vast majority of football managers leave their jobs because they are sacked, it is the norm and is taken into account in their contracts with their huge payouts and high wages. If it wasn't they wouldn't take the jobs. Hill certainly wouldn't have left the safest job in football at Rochdale to come to Barnsley with, in his opinion, a reputation for sacking managers, if he and his agent hadn't made sure his contract made it worthwhile.

Which young players? The fans were behind noble-lazarus, Hill publically slated him and played him at left back. John Stones gets dropped by hill every time he makes a mistake while certain players were allowed to play week after week despite cocking up every game and were only dropped after a supporters backlash. He also publically stated last season that in training he had broken Vaz Te and treated him bad to try to make him a better player. If the young lads are terrified, perhaps theyre terrified of hill?

    Er, no I wasn't, Paul.
That may have been the case last term, certainly up until February. But anybody reading my posts or blog articles since the end of that season will have noticed my support/faith/belief etc waning by the week. It disappeared about a month ago.
And please rein it in with the assumption that when I post my 'own' thoughts that for some reason known only to you I am attempting to get others to "fall into line"... I wish I had that kind of influence. Sadly, I don't.
