The usual Cobra and Kingfisher - I can't tell the difference but after 8 pints it dunt matta. Also John Smith's bitter but it comes out of a plastic electric pump thingy and tastes like that liquid which squirts out of the hole on the side of old fishing boats. Loads of wine of all colours some with bubbles some without. Bottle of Moet if you're loaded and/or she's worth it (or up for it). One of the co-owners is a dee dar fan. If you like hot food then the pilli pilli chicken is nice. Plays havoc with one's digestive tract though.
RE: The usual Ok I won't mention the football when I go, just incase the co owner is around. He isn't worth Moet lol. Thanks for the help bud
"meal was crap service was crapper" Hee hee I take it you were not impressed then Which one did you go to?
RE: The Dam.... Never tried it. Quite happy with Fenay Bridge 2 for 1 meals. Steak and ale pie, chips, garden peas and a portion of onion rings for six quid (Y) (Y) (Y)
RE: The Dam.... Fenay Bridge surprisingly enough lol. Where you from? Would have cost about a tenner without it being a 2 for 1 place, all year round.
RE: The Dam.... Well i'd say The Fenay Bridge in Fenay Bridge, is about 15 minutes from Huddersfield town centre. If you go through Kirkburton on Wakefield Road as if going to town, it's about two minutes further down the road, on the left.
RE: Try the chicken in the mango sauce Might try that next week then. Not after the Chelski match though, as i'll be too gutted at the defeat to think about food lol.
That's a bit girlie for Dreamboy Mita Chicken I think you mean. Very mild and sweet, recommended for beginners or for people who only go because their mates are going. He claims to want something which will rot his oesphagus. I recommend blazing chilli chicken with extra chilllies and chilli sauce, topped off with sun dried red chillies. For a suitable stater try chillli soup garnished with fresh whole green chillies, and as a side dish chilli rice without the rice and chilli tikka dall without the tikka or the dall. To drink I recommend that blue stuff which is normally used in your screen washer in winter. That should loosen the old digestive juices and keep the casualty department and the local sewage works busy.
RE: Post Chelski Well that's the plan for saturday night, sunday dinner on sunday. But there's still Friday night for me to sort out and so I might go there for my first time.
Failing that he's welcome to a jar of my home made chilli pickled garlic cloves. They actually go thru a stage where they are turquoise blue. Once eaten guarantee no friends for at least a week
RE: Post Chelski Ali, We are all staying over in Barnsley after the Chelsea game. Let me know where you are before you have too many ! Freya
