    Aye, but he's marginally up the evolutionary scale than Moyles

    Apart from all the painful local stuff he has to do he's managed to get my dial switched to Radio Dee Dah. He even manages to make that palletable.

    Lets face it without him they'd forget they had a public service obligation to report on the rest of South Yorkshire and north derbyshire.

    That was Jase, he lost his old man about two months ago. He's a great mate, and a regular stand in for me at the Sheffield clubs.

    Glad you enjoyed it. I was really nervous, I've not played The Frog for ten years!

    He didin't write that line ... it was Peter Kay and Dave Spikey

    He just said it! Not brown nosing ... don't know him from Adam and have never heard his show. If that was his first game on Saturday he wouldn't have been alone let's face it!

    Precisly, he didnt write phoenix nights, he just had the good fortune of saying that particular line, it could just as easily have gone to someone else so it isn't brown nosing.

    What I will say for Toby Foster though is that he ALWAYS mentions the town. Whether he agrees with something or not he'll mention it and will laugh with the town rather than at it.
    His breakfast show is one of the best on the radio, the only fault I have with it is there isn't enough talking, it seems all of the other things that radio sheffield have to do get in the way a bit.

    Toby Foster had an input to phoenix nights that he didn't get recognition for

    He has said so on the radio
    How big the input was I dont know, but if Toby is there while filming I bet it was a reight laugh
    So yer can bet they took stuff from him and used it in phoenix nights
