RE: Agree ...

Something dangerous like that then yes I'd agree but there are far too many.

As I've said I've not watched NFL for years but the last game I watched was littered with flags on almost each and every play. What on earth does pass interference matter, let them do it, it's another obsticle for the offense to overcome. So what if there's a defensive movement a fraction before the snap ...

Whilst I appreciate that many people like the tactical nature of NFL it's so overregulated for me that I find it too dull to hold my attention nowadays. I'll probably watch a bit of the Superbowl out of curiosity with it being my old team but I doubt I'll enjoy it.

The "not looking" at the ball Pass Interference is my favourite!

If you aren't a position to turn around , you are penalised for using your nous to prevent the oppo catching the ball.

It makes absolutely no sense at all.

Like the one the other week - the defender jumped up in the endzone and blocked the ball, but because he wasn't looking at the ball it was adjudged pass interference.

Half the distance to the goal-line penalties as well - so commit an offence on your own 10 yard line and you are only put back on the 5 yard line, next play the offence do same penalty and they are back on the 15 yard line!

Thats the one I saw , it was bonkers,

he didnt even touch the other guy when he jumped.

I dont know why they make the game so complicated , all in all its a pretty basic game , and its getting to the Rugby Union stage where because of the regulatiob there could be a penalty on every play.

Sunday, with a capital S - it's a proper noun, get it right.

You make Rob Knowles seem like Bill Skakespeare!

RE: you try catching an american football thrown 50 yards...

while running a precise route, similtaneously looking u as the pass is thrown, dodging 4 defensive backs before sprinting faster than most of our olympic sprinters could ever achieve for the game winning score, Low skill levels my arse.

Im definatly gonna get me some tickets to that game, and as a bonus I'm a huge Dolphins fan.

Not much room for indivuality though is there?

The only time some might occur is when they get a busted play.

Far too scripted , should let the players express themselves more.

its all about 2nd guessing your opponent. its a very tactical sport, and a very intelligent one.

RE: I think it'll be a long while before the 49ers are decent again.

Alex Smith just isnt cutting it, and your defence is appalling. I cant talk as a Dolphins fan though.

Yes he's as bad as Rex Grossman (and look at him overachieving). Just have to see what the draft for the new season brings. So you will be off to watch Dolphins over here then ?
