Knackers to that! Get her put away!

Can't have behaviour like that in a civilised society, ffs! I'd suggest young Daniel is safer with his dad than his vindictive, violent mother and her evil clan.

I seriously think that you should have pressed charges against the people that attacked you. I don't like violence at the best of times, but to attack someone while they are asleep is disgusting.

What made her want you beaten up?

And what made her mate's bloke want to get involved?

    Quite true.

If you end up in Court arguing over when you can see your son (because she'll find it very easy to put a stop on the amount of time you'll get) - you'll want some credit for the fact that she gave you a beating. You'll need to evidence why the lad is better off with you. Plus the fact that your lad needs to know that women aren't allowed to batter their husbands - something that goes over looked all the time I'm afraid.

You're playing into her hands - sorry to be cynical.

First of all, you've let her get away with giving you a beating. Believe me, once the cuts and bruises have gone, nobody will get a proper idea of how nasty it was, and some people won't believe you. Make sure you get your injuries photographed professioinally by a SOCO. You could ask the police to sort you out with a complainant declines to prosecute agreement whereby you sign a document stating that you refuse to prosecute your wife, if she will accept that she caused you injures. She would have to counter sign the document under caution so it is admissible in court. She won't receive any 'punishment', but at least the matter is documented formally. The ask for a copy of the photos of your injuries.

You should really prosecute this woman and her thug life friends.

Staying away from your son will give her the opportunity to lie to him and put silly ideas in his head (Daddy can't be bothered now, he doesn't love us any more). He ought to see what his mum did to his dad really. Stand up for yourself mate - I know this is terribly hard for you, I genuinely empathise with your circumstances, and I think that what you have done is a very principled and honourable thing - but she isn't playing by the same standards or rules, so be careful mate.
