I don't have an issue with you, nor anyone on here by a few people I think are muppets (won't name names). Your response to JC got a chuckle from me, mainly as I thoroughly concurred. I just hate how negative Barnsley fans seem to be. I know its probably the same at all clubs, but as a positive person, I find it very irritating, thats all.
RE: This great header that you've mentioned a number of times If that's the case then maybe he has a lot more to learn about the English game, but something inside me says he'll turn good, we'll have to see. I also think he's been unlucky to play in some of our poorest performances, I'd love to see him in the team when we've really got the wind up our tails and the football is flowing, just to see whether he has anything to bring to the table then. The jury is blatantly still out, and I think it will be for another 12 months.
Seriously, other than the result, how many positives were there?
We were outplayed. looked uncomfortable. disorganized, and totally out of our depth. Yet stole a win from nowhere. I don't know whether that's good or bad.

I don't think Mostto had a terrible game or anything. It's probably the best he's played for us. But I'm yet to be convinced we spent the £400,000 wisely. We'll see. A few mongrels aside, we all want him to do well.
I agree. But I considered Mostto's performance to be a positive. Thought he looked sharp, showed a willingness to shoot - most of our bursts forward came from him pulling wide and then sliding the ball into space for an onrushing Howard.
I can count 6 or 7 outfield players who had worse games than Mostto, IMO, and he seems to have been singled out for criticism.
Lets face it - if it hadn't been for Coulson, it would have been the pretty miserable prospect of a replay on a Tuesday night in Blackpool and an extra game in the fixture list.

RE: This great header that you've mentioned a number of times Yet again I agree, and on the way to the game I said, why do we only play mostto with odejayi, when he would have much better chance with macken/ferenzci and da silva. But his movement off the ball, really made me think I was thinking optimistically, and reality is he looks totally lost. But is under contract for another season, so am happy his touch and passing can come good, but we really need to put the training ground work in.
RE: This great header that you've mentioned a number of times Said when I saw the team that Mostto only ever seems to get to play with KO, which would seem to be completely the wrong partner.
RE: This great header that you've mentioned a number of times Thanks for enlightening me a little on how he played today, as I said all I was going on was radio commentary and reports from friends who were there. Most of my arguments were more questions that needed answering. I think, like a lot of people, tha we all want him to be the Peruvian hitman he was signed to be, bit of a fairytale signing really. Maybe it won't work like that, maybe it will, but I just hope he's got enough in his locker for this level, and that Davey can get the best out of him. I can't imagine they have many games as poor and as dull in Peru as the one today though can you?
And that is why he is so frustrating. We were sold the dream of the south american fox, who isn't the ferenczi grafter, but can finish. He will take a while to bed in, but when he does, then get ready. But to fulfil that dream, he has to make the movement to open defences. And that is what is so frustrating, he doesn't look like he has the intelligence/movement to open defences. But he isn't the hard working chaser like ferenczi. Who I think we really missed today, and it totally underrated by barnsley fans.
RE: This great header that you've mentioned a number of times I really thought/hoped mostto would come good, I even bought the cienziano (mosttos peruvian team) shirt, cos I hoped he would become a hero. But at least they had this to look at, what do we have?

RE: This great header that you've mentioned a number of times Machu picchu or barnsley main?
