On a day like we've had today my heart bleeds for you.
My dogs are my best, and only true friends.
Try to get through the best you can, but make sure you take great care of your other two.... they will be so precious to you now.

Sorry to hear that mate, know exactly how you feel. I lost one dog in September, old age mainly & had to make the big decision - absolutely heartbreaking. Then had the nightmare scenario of having my other dog burst a tumor during the heavy snow in January - and not be able to reach a vet for 3 days. Then lost him on the operating table. Still gutted but it does get easier honestly.

Sorry to hear your sad news DT, it's heartbreaking losing a dog and nothing will make it feel better but hopefully today's result will give you some comfort.

So sorry to hear that, DT. When I got back down here I went to visit my little Murray cat who died last summer and is now buried under the shadow of his favourite tree on the river bank. The pain eases with time but life is never quite the same when they pass. My thoughts are with you.

If it makes you feel any better - we've all been there. I lost my pet camel 'Humphrey' last year to dehydration. It was only after the autopsy that I found out it wasn't a real camel at all. It was two polish blokes in a pantomime outfit. Those *******s had been living in my house for nine years.

(in all seriousness, I hope you're feeling a bit better)

All the best mate. I've never owned a pet so I can only imagine how you must feel.
