Re: Some right martyrs amongst those who went today. Did you go to the Zenith Data Systems cup games? If so you should get a peerage
you enjoyed that, i thought it was like watchin paint dry i couldn,t see either team scoring,i think the reason the ball boy didn,t fetch the ball is he,d dropped to sleep.
Re: Some right martyrs amongst those who went today. Geroff! I went to the Leeds one at home. Ner Ner
Yours is a post from someone whose support is conditional Upon results. Not available brass. Fair enough But you should not necessarily slay poor Judith who has an abiding faith in supporting the team She did point out that the prices were cheap You do not own the club If it all goes down (through lack of interest from guess who) then at least Judith was on board waving her knickers And I salute her!!
You are pathetic and I think it is utterly disgusting for you to dare to have a go at people for choosing how they spend THEIR money. Grow up and learn to accept that you might have unlimited time and money and CHOOSE to spend that money supporting Barnsley but a lot of people CHOOSE to spend their money in other ways and have other priorities and it is absolutely **** all to do with you.
Excuse me but she is not pathetic If people like Judith did not turn up and give their SUPPORT (you seem to like capitals) then you would not have either a club or a website to spout your views upon. If you don't spend your money in the direction of the club then in my opinion your view is marginalised, even if it be quite validly expressable To use "pathetic" "disgusting" etc is , for you, simply to look into a mirror and perhaps reflect Go and spend your money elsewhere. Perhaps there's an M&S site to rage about returns After you spent your afternoon at Meadowhall
Being labelled pathetic by the biggest ******* arsehole who posts on here makes me chuckle, I've not singled anyone out in any way shape or form, I've merely formed an opinion on what I think, it dose't make me right or wrong in anyway.
Maybe all the fantastic possesion football that we have been playing is not that appealing to fans after all, a few so called long balls and a few wins might increase interest and crowds.
It's not about telling people how they should spend their money, nor is it criticising non-attendees and acting as a 'better-fan'. But people's main reasons for not attending are high ticket prices and not liking the manager/team's performances. We've got rid of the manager and the ticket prices were lowered significantly, yet we get a League Two standard attendance. Ok, people probably thought it'd be a poor game, but what do we do? Wait until we get a good team again then start going? Sometimes fans have to turn up to generate the revenue to create a good team. I'd never criticise Barnsley fans, we've stuck with the club through terrible times, but there are too many excuses at times for non-attendance.
Again we wouldn't be queuing round the block for a big team in the next round. Mark Robins season, Man U at home we couldn't shift a measley 16k home tickets, over 2 thousand unsold.
Football in general has lost touch with the fans people are slowly but surely getting fed up with it.
Didn't get lucky, Burnley hardly managed a shot, whether 10 or 11 on the pitch. PS whats all this b*****s about coffee
