Thanks, John. If that's the case, then I immediately like the lad, as he'll annoy all the 'experts' and Arsene Wenger wannabe's!:D

Burnley fans said Treacy was a fantastic talent but very hit and miss.

    I never saw any talent.

Fans opinions from previous clubs mean nowt really. Look at the dross we've watched who've gone on and done well at other clubs. Sometimes, a club fits.

The opinions of fans from other clubs never interests me. You never know whether they're passing on an honest, objective view, or are following their own agenda. It doesn't matter anyway, as it's how a lad plays for Barnsley that's important to me, not how he did elsewhere.

The Wycombe fans say Mawson is better than Scowen though.... :D

I was pleasantly surprised when we signed the lad. After all, when the rumours were flying round that we were interested in him, all our 'experts' insisted we wouldn't get him. They claimed he'd be going to Swindon, or Birmingham and wouldn't dream of coming to a club destined to be involved in a relegation battle this coming season, who have a useless Head Coach, working alongside a totally incompetent CEO, Chairman and owner(!):D
I'm glad I remain a totally ignorant thicko, who happily admits to knowing nothing about football.:D

I'm glad you're back. Not many on here with any enthusiasm.

Thank you, but that's your street cred gone, old mate!:D I can't wait for next Saturday's testimonial game. See our new players and give Bobby a richly deserved send off.

If you're in the bar beforehand, I'll come and see you pal. Should be a great afternoon. The likes of Devaney and Foster playing at some stage too.

As I've been away, I'm leaving all the organising to barnsley66. I was under the impression, after listening to a radio interview Bobby did, that there'll be quite a number of our old players turning out for the last half hour, or so. Also, Lee Johnson was rumoured to be possibly playing, too.

    This in spades.

Sick to death of seeing strikers being made to play on the wing. (If that's what's happened)

Why ? Why is he even involved in Hassell`s match ? he already cocked up the opposition , by saying it had to be part of the teams pre season !!
