I just think he needs the right strike partner and it'll click for him. Adam Armstrong certainly wasn't that strike partner.
Was better playing with Winnall but still looked unlikely to score. Sent from my iPad using Barnsley FC BBS Fan Forum mobile app
I think he needs to get off to a good start and gain some confidence. I don't think the football from January onwards helped him either when we lost hourhine and bree we struggled to play the ball out of defence and into midfield especially when yids was injured too. Alot of the time it was a mark roberts HOOF that bypassed the midfield and came straight back at us.
If we play him like we did Satdi then I can see him putting a transfer request in early doors. Absolutely pointless asking him to play chase-ball or play up front alone. He never touched the ball and looked totally hacked off. We all have the saying ' In Hecky we trust' but **** me surely it is time to give TB the chance of a run out with a big man - I am 100% convinced he would thrive and develop the confidence that others have identified as being his weak spot. It's a no-brainer for me, but if we haven't tried it in pre-season I can't for the life of me seeing us try it after the big kick-off.
A striker that's big and strong - someone like Justin Fashanu - who could hold balls up and would definitely have played with him
I don't think he has ever played with someone like that (successfully) prior to joining us. Why do you think it would be the magic elixir? Genuine question.
It would appear reading this thread that I'm not unique in holding that opinion I guess you hold a different view. Which you are entitled to do so
Do you really believe Tom Bradshaw is better than Winnall ? I know Winnall went to S6 and that makes him worse than thatcher to some, but Bradshaw is a pale comparison to Winnall mate. You have your own ideas on players and this is another strange one ! By the way how is that fantastic central midfielder doing, the one that we let go to Ipswich ?
Mobile Good touch.? Faster . Have. Track record over several. Seasons. When he first started at Walsall he didn't get many goals till he found his feet. Yes, overall all he's better than a player who frustrated. Me with his poor touch poor team play and lethargy
I wonder if the admin on this site see your posts as homophobic in nature, are you looking to get banned?
Bradshaw has all the tools to be successful. His movement at times is exceptional and his work rate first class. He's crying out for a partner that much is obvious. Also, as has been alluded to above he just needs a bit of confidence and composure at times. Making the lad feel loved rather than writing him off may help that. Who knows.
