Yes he's pretty crap but come on there's a loooooooooong list of worse. And plenty of left backs too.

Also, his hair style might not be to everyone's taste but it's well cared for and luxurious.

He wasn't so bad in terms of making obvious and horrendous errors which would cost us goals. It was more the fact that when he got the ball he literally couldn't do anything with it, and last season he got the ball a lot, probably more than any other player. I'd go as far as saying he was our designated playmaker, it certainly appeared that way anyway.

He was atrocious. Spineless. Constantly blaming others. Pointing out that he had 2 men to deal with while marking neither. Slow to react, slow in possession. Regularly strolled while player after player charged past him.

One of the most painful players to watch in my 20 years of watching Barnsley, and if its true he's gone, it will significantly increase the chances of me watching the team this season rather than supporting from home.

Loads of worse players than TK but he seemed so blissfully unaware of his limitations styling himself as our playmaker the Roberto Carlos of Barnsley". At oleaster Gibbs just used to give toto those who could play ( if he could find them)

I don't think McLaughlin had many poor games to be honest but agree on the rest.

Kennedy stands out because he was garbage yet continued to be an ever present. Most of our other poor players were got rid of or dropped & we had about 15 midfielders yet no competition at left back.

He also stands out cos he's the last one left.

I'd class him as one of the poorest regular starters we've had since I started watching us play in the mid 90's.

We've definitely had many worse players that's for sure

Mclaughin was outstanding in a number of games. His debut was very good especially. Would love to see him back this season.

I thought McLaughlin was one of our best players last season despite not playing many games. Exposed a little defensively on occasion but you'd expect that.

I don't think it is that he is a particularly bad player (although he is not very good either), its just that he didn't look up for the fight. When he is one of our highest paid players (allegedly), that's hard to stomach.

My abiding memory of him will be at Boro when we were finally relegated. We're losing and on a counter attack, one of their lads goes down injured, so what does TK do? Cross it in as we are desperate for a goal, and had 2 men on the box waiting? Pass to a team mate? No, he kicked the fvkin thing out so lad could get some treatment. Sporting behaviour you might think, but nobody was asking him to kick it out, none of their players, I'm not sure many had noticed him go down. Me and Mario, and a thousand others gave him some reyt grief, he flicked his hair.

I can't get my head round the fact that he was playing in the Championship despite being so one-footed.

Still, I suppose he suffered extra grief because he succeeded Goulbourn. With SG and Stonesy either side we actually looked like we could achieve stability.

Completely agree Jay. Also, I'd struggle to put anyone who was part of the team that achieved what they did at the back end of the 2012/13 season in a 'worst team'. Surely you have to consider their time as a whole.

Remember his debut at Birmingham(that 5-0 game) at right back? He looked alright that day... How things changed though.

    Good riddance.

Are you sure he's gone? I've seen it mentioned on here & apparently it's been on Twitter, but I've not seen it anywhere else. Gum121 has even said they've seen him training today down at Oakwell alongside Martin Cranie. I'm not saying it's wrong, but it does appear to be unsubstantiated at this moment.

Seems like he's still with us mate...which is a tad disappointing (same goes for Cranie)

You and others may be disappointed, mate, but I'm not. I know my opinion of him is unpopular, but I rate Cranie and would prefer him to stay.

Fair doos mate, I just think we can get better for the money he will be on. He also played a big part in our failure last season and I think it would be in both parties' interests if he moved on. Our defence was very weak last season and has been for some time, I think it needs a complete reshape.
