I didn't see the spiiting incident, so I won't comment on that, but I am disappointed that he's left.

Atleast this means Robbie will get a crack on the left next season. I can't see him bringing anyone in to cover left back.

    Kids got potential...

Bags of it..just dosent feckin use it...

Can tackle & head the ball, just his passing and clearences are wayward 99% of the time!

Seen him play some blinders, but more than enough shockers

Be interesting to see if or who Ritchie brings in.

    Freeing up a squad place?

or cutting our cloth? high earner off the wage bill, 10 quid says Ritchie states "no need for a replacement".

    10 grand?

You can get a brand new decent spec VW Polo for 10 grand. If you were the Gillingham chairman, what would you prefer? A brand new car or Tom Williams?

Apparently a sell on clause has been put in the contract

Not sure what percentage we'll be entitled to, but lets say 40%. What's 40% of nowt?

exactly what i thought and for anyone who saw the preseason last year

they would no he was looking the big new star of the team, he played that left side brilliantly with exellent crosses to go with it.

    RE: Free Transfer ?

£10k's probably 4/5 weeks wages for him. By getting rid a year early we've saved over £100k. No excuse not to play Robbie W either now. TM will be pleased.

TM knows very little about sport and football in general I find.

I am hoping for 'uncompromising' centre half to be recruited now.

Can't see it. Looks like cost cutting to me.

    I am guessing here

Austin to fill in until Howard is fit, then R Williams back to natural position. worryingly short on left sided players now. having said that, I still think scoring enough goals will be our downfall this season.
