What about Keith Hill? How do we think he will pronounce it?

Just asked a mate of mine I work with who happens to be a Derby fan, reckons his energy and determination is excellent but says he's abit of a hot head too! If I remember correctly he was the one who ran rings round jaymac a few seasons back...not that that's anything special, but welcome to the well fella!

    An experienced Championship player

Demanded by some and with quite a bit of ability about him. A decent midfield now of Cywka, Mellis and either Dawson, Digby or Perkins, supplemented out wide by the likes of Silva, Done, Etuhu & O'Brien. A nasty centre half and a couple of strikers next please Keith.

We only need one because he's only going to play them one at a time,

I'd like to see two strikers being brought in offering differing styles (target man & speed merchant). That way the manager has options available to him, whether he goes for a lone striker or two up front.
Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

    Re: An experienced Championship player

I'm of the same opinion as you to be fair, but looking at the players he's brought in they all seem to be talented, but like wise they all seem to have had a troubled past, its seems to me the only players we can afford are the ones other clubs don't want to take risks on, so going by that i feel strikers up the job at this level are well out of our price range so he's going to give the midfield a licence to bomb on and get involved in the scoring of goals, doing this will attract other clubs to our midfielder's and we'll have to let them go in january so he's using all the budget on stocking up on them so we don't end up them same as last season

In my opinion he's an excellent signing, that quote is from non-league Nigel when he was a Derby, I wouldn't trust his opinion as far as I could throw. He is exactly the sort of player who can keep us in the Championship, Reading obviously thought enough of him to pick up in January for their promotion push. Don't think he's premier league quality, but will certainly improve our squad. Good signing Keith!

Is that fact? I have heard it pronounced chew-ka (like Shuker, but with a smaller forehead).

According to most of the Derby fans, a player with bags of potential but lost his way and can run down blind alleys. Sounds familiar.

let's hope we don't look prudent by him getting crocked a la Mido!

if he's good let's bang him an extension in november or let's hope he signed where we had the option to extend in january
