We can all fall out with each other on football let alone bloody politics. Why can't people who want to debate politics go do it on a forum dedicated to it?
At the very least threads like this should be shunted onto a separate section of the board.
Personally I have an interest in and views on politics and religion. A football forum isn't the place I want to argue about them.

Perhaps, people that are most likely to be racist tend around the lower end of the IQ-spectrum and are therefore less affected emotionally by the words of an intelligent racist than they are someone that speaks their language? Intelligent racists, such as Churchill (see his views on India and Indians), often disguise their racism as it could cause them problems in the circles they inhabit (politics, business, etc) and are less overt in their views than those with less intelligence.

In a way, it could be seen as a manifestation of the Dunning-Kruger effect, with the less intelligent racists having an higher opinion of their own intellect and world view and seeing people of a different skin colour as inferior, when in reality skin colour is an evolutionary trait beneficial to survival in hotter countries.

 

Yes please do this. Either a separate area or go on a completely different forum for political or religious debate sounds good.
If you’re that way inclined you will probably get a better standard of debate too unless you find that too taxing.

Thats the thing though.
No one with a modicom of common sense equats all muslims to being rapists or terrorists.
Infact you could based on the backgrounds of a large percentage of the convicted offenders its as much a cultral aspect as religious given the offenders share very similar tribal links.

The other problem is that far too many people including the self confessed interlects continually confuse Muslims with Islam.

The are mutliple branches within the Islamic faith simialr to other religions.

The issue lies solely at how the various Islamic scripture and laws are interpretated.

You look at ISIS and their Caliphrate. That is almost to a T following Islamic docterine.

As it stands, there is a small but fastly growing number that follow the ideals of whabbism islam and its spin offs.

This is where the danger lies.

Lets not forget. The biggest persecuter of Muslims is other Muslims.

Twitter has been awash with comments from his supporters referring to the left, the far left, leftist, liberals etc but I’d be willing to put good money on the vast majority of the comments being posted by people who haven’t got the faintest clue about what they’re even referring to. It just smacks of parroting something that their mates or people they look up to i.e Katie Hopkins, etc have said or posted elsewhere.

I just don’t believe that someone who cannot get their head around this whole Tommy Robinson debacle is then able to hold their own in a debate regarding political ideology.
